Hi everyone,

My name is Seyda Ozkan. I am a GSA councillor and also one of the GSA representatives of International Students Consultative Committee. I have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) Degree in Turkey and am currently undertaking a PhD on Farm Management Economics, more specifically on innovations in dairy systems in Western Victoria in the Melbourne School of Land and Environment. As one of the councillors, along with general council meetings, I am more interested in issues of students who come from overseas. Therefore, I aim to develop student networks for both locals and internationals, for example by organising social and cultural events.
