Aussie Rules Football - GSA Daytrip

Come with the GSA to see what all the fuss is about! Let us take you to a game of Aussie Rules football in the home city of the AFL, Melbourne. We will enjoy a reserved seat close to the action for a game between two of the original clubs of the century-old competition, the Carlton Blues and the Melbourne Demons.

Join the GSA for a special evening viewing of the first ever exhibition to showcase more than 80 costumes, interactive displays, models and props (including Darth Vader’s menacing attire and Luke Skywalker’s landspeeder) from all six Star Wars films, together with modern technologies that offer the potential to one day make the world of Star Wars a reality.

Penguins & Koalas at Phillip Island

Join the GSA on a visit to the Phillip Island Koala Conservation Centre, the seaside town of Cowes, the spectacular Nobbies headland and finally the Penguin Visitor Centre to watch the world’s smallest penguins waddle up the beach to the safety of their homes in the sand dunes.

Parliament of Victoria

Come with the GSA to see Australian politics in action as we visit the Parliament of Victoria on Spring St. We will be see both the Upper and Lower Houses and sit in for a session of Question Time in the Lower House.

Yarra Valley Wineries

Travel to the stunningly beautiful Yarra Valley north-east of Melbourne and begin at DeBortoli Winery with wine-tasting before heading for lunch at Fergusson’s Winery. Then on to Yering Station for more tasting and finally finish off the day at the majestic Domaine Chandon with a tour of the wine-making facilities, a tasting and a light snack.
