GSA's Graduate Student Groups are a great place to start! These groups are organised and run by graduate students based at a department or other academic location (campus, school, centre, institute, etc).
Click one the menu to see a list of groups that already operate. Graduate Student Groups run a diverse range of activities, decided on by their members. These include symposia, exhibitions, conferences, formal dinners and heaps of social events. GSA can provide ongoing support, both financial and administrative, to assist with the running of these events.

Botany Postgraduate Association
Aims:
- To foster an active postgraduate community within the School of Botany
- To provide opportunities for Botany postgraduate students to present and discuss scientific issues
- To provide a forum for Botany postgraduate students to raise and discuss non-scientific issues relevant to postgraduate students, and to represent the views of the DG within and outside the school

Aims:
- To facilitate working and social gatherings of philosophy graduates
- To maintain regular forums for postgraduate presentations
- To facilitate philosophical discussion with other departments' graduates and hose of other institutions.
