If you regularly use the general study rooms or computer labs in the Graduate Centre, or want a place to lock away your things without carrying them all over campus, you can apply for a locker in the building.
There are 68 lockers with 24 hour access and 167 lockers with limited access. 24 hour lockers are available in the Graduate Centre in the computer labs, the general study rooms, the central kitchen, and the postgraduate lounge. Limited access lockers are available in the Graduate Centre Loft and the ground floor of the Frank Tate Learning Centre building, which is situated next to the UMPA bar and café. Limited access lockers are only accessible between 8 am - 10 pm Monday to Friday. Lockers in the Graduate Centre are allocated for 6 months, while lockers in the Frank Tate building are allocated for 12 months, subject to your enrolment.
To apply for a locker, you need to join GSAnews and then respond by email when locker vacancies are advertised.
If and when you are allocated a locker you must fill in a form at GSA Reception and pay a $20 refundable deposit. Lockers are free for GSA subscribers who have paid their subscription, or cost $30 per semester if you are not a subscriber. (For lockers in the Frank Tate Learning Centre the cost is $30 per year.)
