Muse Anthologies

The Muse anthology has been published annually by UMPA since 2004. It has published many first-time writers, as well as published novelists and poets, and a few authors shortlisted for the Vogel Award. A number of authors published in Muse have gone on to win prestigious prizes and writing fellowships. Muse is not only a great opportunity for postgraduates to publish their stories or poetry— it is also an enthralling and surprising read.

Previous editions of Muse are available from UMPA Reception for $5.00.

“To paraphrase William Carlos Williams, the lifeblood of writing is contained in ‘little magazines'. In Muse, we feel a wildly throbbing pulse.” – Dan Disney, Broadway Poetry Prizewinner 2006 (Winner of 2004 and 2005 Muse Poetry Prize)
