The Postgraduate Printroom is run by GSA and is connected to the Graduate Presentation and Publishing Centre (GPPC). It provides a friendly and comprehensive range of services at competitive prices.
Staff are available to offer personal assistance with the facilities, which include laser and digital printing in black and white or colour, photocopying in black and white or colour, transparencies, thesis/report binding and a fax service. Archival/ acid-free paper is also available in the printroom.

GSA subscribers will receive a 10 percent discount on the full price of
colour and black & white printroom copying and printing, transparencies,
CDs, laminating, thermal and spiral binding and the fax service at the GSA
Printroom and Publishing Centre. Simply show your subscriber sticker to

Binding Services
There are three different types of binding offered:
Thermal Binding (Temporary Binding)
This hot glue binding is commonly used for the submission of theses for assessment. The glue takes several hours to dry, so pick-up is usually on a next day basis. For same day service, documents must be submitted by 12 pm to pick up after 3 pm.
1 - 200 pages: $5 (subscriber discount $4.50)
201 + pages: $8.50 (subscriber discount $7.65)
Plastic Spiral Comb Binding
While you wait.
1 - 30 pages $2 (subscriber discount $1.80)
31 – 100 pages $3 (subscriber discount $2.70)
101 – 200 pages $4 (subscriber discount $3.60)
200 + pages $7 (subscriber discount $6.30)
Hard Binding (Permanent Binding)
We have a pick-up and drop-off service agreement with Doncaster Bookbinders. Every Monday morning they pick up documents for hard binding and drop off finished binding at the GSA Printroom. To ensure your documents are picked up, please make sure you submit them to the GSA Printroom with the completed binding form by 4.30 pm on the previous Friday. They will be ready for you to pick up from 2 pm on Monday, one week after pick-up.
