We hold social events throughout the year.
Throughout the academic year, GSA holds social events like trivia nights, karaoke, lunches and more. Graduate Students have a chance to meet and network, or just let their hair down a little.
To welcome you to the first week of semester one, we hosted the Graduate Welcome Fair. With food, drinks, mixers and games, it had something for everyone.
Stay tuned for our upcoming plans for semester 2!
Get out of town; see Victoria. Watch a penguin waddle home, cuddle a koala, get up close and personal with a Tasmanian Devil, slide in the snow or marvel at the grandeur of the Great Ocean Road.

You've heard it before. You know the drill: Joining a student club or society can hugely improve your student experience at The University of Melbourne. Here's why Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences students should join Graduate Agriculture & Food Society:
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a graduate student at the University of Melbourne is in need of a good place to study. GSA is embarking on a campaign to ensure that all graduate coursework and research students have appropriate study spaces, and we want to hear from you. What’s the situation in your department? Research students, do you have a desk to call your own? Coursework students, can you find a quiet place to study on campus when you need one? We want to know which departments are doing a great job, and which ones need to smarten up their act. Comment here and let us know!
