GSA is committed to protecting the environment and embraces a set of sustainability goals within its activities. We encourage sustainable office practices. We are committed to the education of graduate students and staff to make choices which foster care for the environment and enhance Australia's environmental sustainability.
GSA has implemented a number of Sustainable Office initiatives including: collecting Christmas cards, mobile phones, overhead transparencies and batteries for recycling; placing water- saving reminders in our kitchens and bathrooms; making recycled paper notepads; and educating staff and Council about effective sustainable office practices.
We encourage graduate students to get involved with the University's efforts to achieve a sustainable campus.
We welcome any feedback or suggestions on how we might better represent graduate students in the area of sustainability on campus.
